To get the following article to fit I had to split it in half. The company name is Tannar & Holmes Elevator Co. In 1961, they had been operating in Fowlerville at least 15 years. These two men would have been Ken Tannar, who passed away this year at the age of over 90 years old, and Riby Holmes, who passed away a few years back. Mr. Holmes was also a teacher here in the Fowlerville district -- some may remember him and it would be great if you would like to leave a comment of your memories.
On another note, the Fowlerville Rotary Club was chartered in 1947 and Ken Tannar was one of the first members of the club.
