1896 Side-By-Side Bicycle

In the summer of 1896, the following article was published in The Fowlerville Review:

The latest in bicycles is a wheel so constructed that two can ride side by side the same as in a carriage. This wheel is the greatest device out. It is the same as an ordinary bicycle with the exception that two seats are so arranged that two persons can ride side by side.
